Data Minimization and Security

We prioritize the security of your data by utilizing industry-standard infrastructure. Your interactions with this website are processed through Vercel (Hosting) and stored in Supabase (Database), which utilizes enterprise-grade PostgreSQL security protocols.

While we implement robust measures to protect your information, please be aware that at any time, a 3 letter agency can request, without my knowledge and permission, sensitive data from the AWS or SupaBase servers.

So PLEASE, if you have breakthrough evidence of an Alien, do not under any circumstances brag in the comments. All of the photos will be stripped of their EXIF data and other identifiable elements.

Commenting and Voting System

To ensure the integrity of our showcase and prevent spam or multiple voting, we collect minimal technical data:

  • IP Hashing: Your IP address is captured but immediately transformed into a SHA-256 cryptographic hash before storage. This means we do not store your raw IP address; we only store a unique string of characters that cannot be reversed to identify you personally.
  • Browser Fingerprinting: We use non-invasive browser fingerprinting to identify unique devices. This helps us ensure that "Upvotes" and "Downvotes" are fair and authentic.
  • Comments: Any information you provide in the comment field is stored on our secure database hosted by Supabase.
